ArrayQuest was written in PHP4 and Linux Bash Shell Scripting language and runs on a Linux RedHat server. Project data, DNA microarray data supersets and analysis process data are saved in a MySQL database. The backend analysis computers use Secure Shell communication link to the center point web server. The system is designed to permit expanded analysis capacity by distributing analysis requests to servers outside of the local area network.
